Vathia, also known as the "tower city" of Mani, is a living architectural monument, and our guesthouse invites you to become part of its history. The accommodation is located on the ground floor of an authentic, traditional tower house over 200 years old. It has been renovated with absolute respect for tradition, keeping its unique architectural character perfectly intact. Vathia View does not offer the standard stay of a typical, modern hotel room. Instead, its smaller window openings and distinctive interior structure are genuine examples of Mani's historic, defensive architecture. For our guests, staying in such a historic building is a rare, unforgettable experience. The evocative atmosphere of the tower is ideally complemented by our outdoor area. Just 8 meters below the property, a beautiful outdoor courtyard awaits you, offering an unobstructed, captivating view of the sea and the wild Maniot landscape. Equipped with a table, chairs, and protective shading, the courtyard serves as your own private observatory. It is the perfect spot to relax, find peace, enjoy your meal, and surrender to the magic of the scenery at any time of the day. Your initiation into Mani begins from the very first moment: leaving your vehicle in the parking area, a short, scenic 150-meter walk along an old path between imposing stone towers transports you to another era.
